Pearl Gabel

Pearl Gabel is the Director of Brand Strategy and Digital Integration across Kivvit’s six offices. She specializes in complex multimedia and social strategy, campaign messaging, branding, digital innovation, and storytelling across a wide variety of industries and sectors.

Prior to joining Kivvit, Pearl was the Digital Director for New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, where she oversaw digital operations, multimedia, and social media. She received national recognition and numerous awards for innovative, bold digital communications. Pearl previously worked as Director of Video for New York City Mayor Bill DeBlasio, where she led the expansion of documentary and rapid response video and messaging. Gabel has previous experience as a photojournalist, reporter, and video producer for several new publications, including the Daily News, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, NBC News, and Reuters. Her work in photo and video has earned awards and recognition, including a New York Emmy nomination.

Gabel was named as one of the nation's 50 Most Influential People in PR and Business by PR Week, one of Fortune Magazine's 40 Under 40, and InsiderNJ's Millennial 100 List.

Pearl, who grew up on the Jersey Shore, holds a Masters of Science from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and a Bachelors of the Arts from Hampshire College.
