Myya Passmore
Myya specializes in multicultural communications, campaign management, public relations, event management, messaging, and strategic counsel. She works with clients across industries and sectors, including government, not-for-profit, lifestyle, and education.
Before Kivvit, Myya served as the CEO of an award-winning, Miami-based diversity communications and consulting firm. In this role, she created multicultural integrated marketing campaigns to connect brands with communities of color through public relations, strategy, outreach, special events, and digital content. Before that, she handled marketing communications for the city of Miami Southeast Overtown/Park West Community Redevelopment Agency, which was focused on revitalizing one of Miami’s oldest historically Black communities. Her work experience also includes leading local advertising and outreach for organizations including Coca-Cola, Paramount Pictures, Dunkin’, the city of North Miami, Career Source South Florida, Steve Harvey Worldwide, iHeart Media, Urban One, and Florida Education Initiative, among many others.
Myya is from Miami, and she now lives in Washington, D.C. You can typically find her exploring the city with her cool preschooler on his bike or scooter, or traveling. Myya is also passionate about encouraging moms to dream out loud.
