Kosoko Jackson

Kosoko integrates socially oriented work into his specialty of digital communications. He’s run national and international campaigns for community organizers, nonprofits, advocacy organizations, and more. He specializes in storytelling, rapid response, and analytics.

Before joining Kivvit, Kosoko worked at the Ford Foundation and managed all paid and organic social media for one of the world’s largest philanthropies. His work helped increase engagement by 25% and followers by 20% across all the foundation’s social media accounts. Prior to that, he was a senior account executive at BerlinRosen and his work included an initiative that helped people living with convictions earn back their rights to vote. He also helped the Teamsters fight for workers’ rights in warehouses across the country.

Kosoko received a B.S. in public health with a focus on infectious diseases and an MFA in fiction writing from Southern New Hampshire University. He is currently working toward a master’s of public health from the University of South Florida. He lives in Jersey City with his overwhelming collection of unread books.
