Justine Sessions

Justine is a public affairs expert who manages national advocacy and reputation campaigns for clients across multiple sectors. She has more than a decade of experience at the intersection of policy, politics and communications.

Prior to joining Kivvit, Justine served as national media director for the Planned Parenthood Federation of America and Planned Parenthood Action Fund. She oversaw PPAF’s communications strategy around its largest-ever electoral program, as well as the media strategy to combat unprecedented attacks on women’s health. Before that, Justine worked on Capitol Hill for several years, driving media and communications strategy on a range of high-profile legislative issues from financial protections to healthcare reform. She served as Chairman Tom Harkin’s (D-IA) press secretary on the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions. She also worked for Senator Christopher Dodd (D-CT) as the press secretary for the Senate Banking Committee during the drafting of Dodd-Frank and as the press secretary in his personal Senate office.

Born and raised in northwest Connecticut, Justine graduated cum laude from Washington and Lee University. She lives in the Glover Park neighborhood of Washington, D.C. with her husband and two daughters.
