Jonathan Scharff

Jonathan specializes in project management, data analysis, campaign development and public affairs risk modeling. He analyzes dynamics between the private sector, the regional economy, infrastructure and government policy to advise client strategy.

Prior to joining Kivvit, Jonathan served as an economic and policy research analyst at the New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce. There he co-authored a pioneering economic development study that analyzed the relationship between New Jersey’s industry clusters and state infrastructure systems. Jonathan began his career at the New York City Council where he shaped the transportation platform of then-Speaker Christine C. Quinn, tracked real estate development around the city and supported the rollout of policy initiatives.

Jonathan holds a master’s in city and regional planning from the Rutgers Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy and a certificate in big data analytics from the Rutgers Center for Innovation Education. He plays ice hockey and lives at the Jersey Shore with his wife and dog.
