Jonathan Kibort
With extensive experience in issue-focused advocacy and grassroots organizing, Jonathan specializes in building comprehensive digital and audience engagement strategies. He has also worked in campaign management, message development, and coalition building.
Jonathan works side-by-side with clients to build thoughtful, cohesive campaigns that don’t just reach new audiences, but also engage and mobilize them as well. He has played a key role in several notable Kivvit efforts, such as our Census campaign for the state of Illinois, which helped engage the state’s hard-to-reach population and encourage them to fill out the Census. As a result, Illinois had one of the highest Census self-response rates in the country.
Prior to joining Kivvit, Jonathan was a senior digital strategist at Organizing for Action (OFA), the grassroots nonprofit that formed out of President Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign. At OFA, he focused on driving the organization’s local and national advocacy efforts through digital initiatives and campaigns that focused on awareness, persuasion, fundraising, and mobilization.
Jonathan is from the Twin Cities, and he now lives in downtown Chicago.
