Jazmin Chávez

Jazmin brings over fifteen years of experience in digital strategy for nonprofits, advocacy campaigns, narrative power analysis, civic tech and community organizing. 

Prior to joining Kivvit, Jazmin was the Digital Director for the Center for Popular Democracy, where she led advocacy, rapid response and fightback campaigns. As the former Deputy Director of Public Technology and Digital Strategy for Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito and the New York City Council, Jazmin focused on access, inclusion, and innovation across platforms to advance the Speaker and Council’s work.

Jazmin is a graduate of CU Boulder and University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Originally from Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, but raised in Denver, she now resides in NYC. She loves traveling, soup dumplings and relaxing with her husband and daughter.
