Jamie Firth

Over the course of his career, Jamie has directed a wide range of communications and public affairs initiatives, including strategic communications and public advocacy campaigns, ballot measure campaigns, legislative campaigns, corporate merger communications and government relations campaigns, as well as corporate thought leadership campaigns and related initiatives. As a result, he is deeply experienced with public opinion research and message development, media relations and advertising, social and digital programs, grasstops and grassroots efforts, coalition-building and third-party ally recruitment and deployment, collateral material preparation and similar activities.

For the previous decade, Jamie served as a senior vice president at Exelon Corp., the Fortune 100 energy company based in Chicago. In his role, he oversaw corporate communications, internal communications, public advocacy (a function he created) and corporate giving and was deeply involved in government relations and public policy matters. He also served as an executive committee member. Prior to his time at Exelon, Jamie ran his own strategic communications and public affairs firm based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, serving clients across the country. Earlier in his career, he served as an officer at a New England electric utility company, helped establish a public affairs consultancy and served as a senior staff person in an executive department state agency.

Jamie is an accomplished speaker and writer and has participated in conferences as a speaker and panel member. He serves on the board of WTTW/WFMT, Chicago's public television and radio stations and the corporate board of Chicago's Boys and Girls Clubs, and he is an Arthur W. Page Society member.

Jamie splits his time between Chicago, Florida and Maine.
