Allynn McInerney

Allynn specializes in the intersection between technology and policy, working with a range of clients mostly representing energy and technology sectors. She is passionate about how smart communications strategies combined with a nuanced understanding of policy and technology can promote efficiency and generate new, inventive campaigns.

Prior to joining Kivvit, Allynn was a Coro Fellow in Public Affairs in San Francisco before joining Singer Associates, a boutique public affairs and crisis communications firm located in the Bay Area. There she helped drive creative, innovative campaigns that spanned industries including healthcare, energy, and land use. She also worked extensively on litigation cases and labor strikes, helping to connect and align the competing interests of those involved. She also spent a year living in Buenos Aires, Argentina, studying and working for the Argentine Council for International Relations (CARI), the nation’s premier political think tank.

Allynn received her Master’s in Public Administration from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, where she studied urban and tech policy. Additionally, she graduated Cum Laude from Connecticut College where she received her B.A. in International Relations and Dance, as well as completed a minor in Latin American Studies. Originally from the Midwest, she currently resides in New York City’s Upper West Side where she enjoys spending time reading at cafes and in parks, as well as entertaining her tuxedo cat, Elaine, who is named after the iconic Seinfeld character.
